Labor Day!!

For Labor Day we went to the Cabin with the Maynes' Family. We had such a blast. We really didn't have much of schedule which was so nice to have that time to relax a catch up with the family. We took Gabby to go down the zip line and swing on the rope. She got to watch Mckay and Lyndsi ride on the zip line and rope swing first so she could see how much fun it was. Gabby tried both and didn't want to go back to the cabin, she just wanted to keep swinging.

Gabby played in the sand box for the most part. The sand box is her favorite place to be when we go to the cabin. Afton love being out side ride in the snuggle. She just likes to be where all the action is happening.

Splash Park

I decide to take Gabby to the Splash park in Vernal with Julie and her kids. Gabby was a lttle nervous at first, but once she saw that her cousins were having fun she got a little braver. Afton also decide that she wanted to swim for the first time. She loved being in the water.

24th of July

On the 24Th of July we went over to Julie's house(Lisa's sister) and had a little BBQ. We let off fireworks later. Gabby love the snaps, once she figured out how to make them pop on the ground. We had great little celebration, and Andy really enjoyed letting the fireworks off with Damion. Those two act like little kid when they get to use fire. Thanks Julie and Damion for letting us come over. We had a lot of fun.

Dinosaur Museum

After having been cooped up in the Hospital and the house for two weeks Andy and I need to get out and enjoy the summer weather. We decided to take Gabriella and Afton the Dinosaur museum in Vernal over the weekend of July 24. The Museum wasn't big but Gabby loved every minute of it. Gabriella's favorite thing was the big gold fish outside. Andy would ask her if she wanted to catch the m and take them home. She would get a big smile on her face and say yes. We didn't bring any home so was a little mad when we left. Afton slept the whole time so you can say she enjoyed it to.

Two Weeks

Well it has been two weeks now that little Afton joined our family. We have enjoyed every minute with her. Gabby loves be a big sister. She is always wanting to hold Afton and feed her. Gabby is always trying to share her treats and toys with Afton. She loves to talk and tell stories to her little sister. (its so cute to watch) Gabby loves having a sister but she refuses to say Afton's name. She will call her baby and sister or she'll ask if she can hold it like Afton is not a person.

Afton weight 7 lbs 2 oz and 19 3/4 inches long when she was born. She loves having her sister attention all the time. Afton really likes to be swaddled and rocked when she sleeps. She sleeps good at night; which is nice for Mom and Dad. We are so glad she is apart of our family. We Love you Afton.

29 Weeks

I am 29 weeks along now and things are going great. I went and had a 3D ultrasound it was neat to see how much the baby has grown and the pictures had more detail to them. I feeling good just getting into that uncomfortable stage where its hard to sleep and even sit long. I have 1 more week left of babysitting Maci. Gabriella will miss having her come every day but it will be nice to have just me and Gabriella time. Maybe I wont be as tired at the end of the day just chasing one child around. We'll see.

Easter

I know this post is a little late but we have been busy around here. We started Easter on Saturday at Grandma Naylor's house with an Easter egg hunt with all of Lisa family. Gabby was excited to find all the candy,but slowly lost interest as the hunt went on. She just wanted to eat the candy she had in her hand.

On Sunday we woke up to snow on the ground and the cow was out of his pen. We didn't have to chase him far, but we had to call the neighbor and use their 4wheeler to get the cow back in. After all that Gabby got to check out what the Easter bunny brought her. She was so excited. We had a good Easter watching conference and just relaxing at home.
